The local orchestra is running a fundraising campaign with this picture and the slogan “This is what you would see and hear without the annual fund.” My cellist daughter took one look at it and said “Hm. No violins. Cool.”

    Glad to see they left the trombones, too. This is the low end of the orchestra — the foundation. Who needs all those tweetling things? :)
