Don’t let it happen again

Last month I wrote about Tashina Byrd and her humiliating attempt to buy Plan B at an Ohio Wal-Mart pharmacy. Now NARAL Pro-Choice America has gotten behind her and launched a letter writing campaign to Wal-Mart President & CEO H. Lee Scott, Jr. saying, “I would like Wal-Mart to stop discriminating against women and to ensure that your pharmacies guarantee women’s access to Plan B. If an individual pharmacist refuses to provide Plan B, Wal-Mart should ensure that another employee provides it immediately.” I think that’s a sentiment we can all get behind.

Send a letter and pass the word to your friends. Let’s call them on this outrageous policy. The more voices the better.
