Thank you, Terry. Your praise challenges me to do ever better at blogging.

My job in choosing five thinking bloggers is complicated by the fact that four of my obvious choices have been taken. Some one else has chosen Helen, and I very much agree with Helen in choosing you. I very much agree with you in choosing Jeff and Shamash. So I will look further afield.

Ahistorically, my son is a historian so I look forward to exploring your site.

Terry, I’m quite honored, thank you; this is pretty heavyweight company you’ve put me in! This is definitely worth a break in the blogging hiatus: I’ll work up my list in the next day or two.

Oh, and I’ve been hanging out over at Progressive Historians, but not really blogging over there, either. I’m playing much the same role over there as here: enjoying the lively discussions and sharing what I know.
