Thanks, Terry!! :) Too cool to pop over and get an award. Wow, have we really known each other so long? I’m always amazed when I think about it, but yeah, that’s the right number. And I only *just* met Carla and Kathy at National this year.

LOL, in some ways I look at that “aspiring romance novelist” moniker and think, man, it sure is taking me a long time. Then I have to remember that I quit the biz for a few years, so I haven’t been actively pursuing publication all this time. That *would* be depressing. When I do the math, it’s actually only 6 years. Sounds much better that way.

It was interesting at National when I realized my memory of the organization went back a bit farther than many of the other people I was talking to. Like at the luncheon when only 1/4 of the place stood up for Vivian Stephens. The rest followed, with no idea why they were standing until Jill Limber told them. The ripple of amazement then was pretty impressive. :)
