Random bullets ala Parts-n-Pieces

Terry @ 8:22 am

Sorry for the long absence - thanks for sticking around! It’s been a crazy week, including internet being out and the subsequent dealings with the cable company, getting Meredith ready to move back to school, and Tony starting marching band. So some quick bullets:

  • Happy thing: my internet is back up and Tony got it working with the network again
  • Happy thing: I’ve lost 8 lbs and I’m back into my regular jeans again. Not my smallest ones yet, but I’ll get there.
  • Not so happy thing: moving Meredith back to Tacoma today. She have a lot of stuff!
  • Happy thing: temps in the low 70s
  • Happy thing: 16 oz triple shot latte with skim milk and no syrup
  • Happy thing: Shopko sells just about everything needed for a college kid apartment at great prices, without the evilness factor of Wal-Mart
  • Happy thing: 2 burner grill plate for the top of my stove: $11.54 at Shopko
  • Ambivalent thing: huge new work project that they’re going to decide isn’t what they really want at all just as soon as I get it done
  • Happy thing: 6 weeks do it
  • Happy thing: maybe having energy to blog next week

Thanks, A! I’m not sure how well I’m doing - it’s taken me 4 weeks to lose 8 lbs - but it’s good to be getting back to where I was before I quit smoking. That’s been really frustrating.

Sorry to worry you, Poet. I should have emailed you as soon as it came back. I’m sorry.
