Oh, just a glitch: I got to hear it after all. Then I fell down the rabbit hole, listened to the Swedish cast version of a couple of songs, some more Elaine Paige (god, she’s good!) and four different versions of “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina.”

She is incredible, A! There were quite a few Chess songs on YouTube - it was hard choosing just one to post.

I was actually very impressed with the Swedish cast: didn’t understand a word they said, of course, but they can sing!

Yeah, I think that the Swedish cast is probably the best recording out there…and I own a lot of Chess recordings!
