Mission accomplished
As of 6 pm yesterday, I’m officially finished with Statistics. I barely squeaked out a C on the final, but I did well enough in the first half of the class to come out with a B over all. After the way I’ve struggled the last couple of weeks, I’m thrilled with that.
So now I have 2 months off to do silly things like … the work I’m paid to do, clean my house, spend time with my kids. And just maybe have a little fun instead of studying every spare minute and dreaming it at night. I didn’t work this hard the first time I was in college, but it’s worth it. I’m proving I can still hold my own with students my kids’ age, and that feels good.
1 class down and 3 to go.

Congratulations! I sometimes have the privilege of teaching LPN’s going for their bachelor’s of nursing. It is GREAT to teach grown-ups! They are so interesting and insightful, and they work so hard–they are truly inspiring.
I’m sure your instructors are thrilled to have you in class!

Thanks A and Rebecca! This is definitely a new experience for me. I need the down time, but I’m looking forward to the next class.
