Happy Halloween!
Psych of Gender, Week 1
A new term, a new class. I dread beginnings and unknown expectations, but I got through the first week of class just fine. This is totally different than the other 2 I’ve taken; less fact-based and more thoughtful. At a minimum I’m writing a paper a week for this class. Some weeks, [...]
Psych of Gender Week 1 paper
Because a few of you have expressed interest in what I’m learning, here’s this week’s paper.
Psychology of Gender
Chapters 4-6
Sex Roles as Adaptations was my first real exposure to evolutionary psychology. This chapter both fascinated me and spawned new questions for me to ponder as I considered the cases of both animals and humans. [...]

Some comments:
d64: So let’s see here.. Both are white. Both have been in charge of large, cold parts of Earth. Both are hardliners when it comes to their core issues. Both have fired subordinates for lack of loyalty… [...]
Forget what I said about shame
Same guy, same monkey, 1 hour earlier. Apparently he was only ashamed when national tv cameras were rolling. When he thought he was safely anonymous, not so much.
I really want to know what he’s saying. Any lip readers in the house?
