Most of the time I really struggle to separate the rational from the irrational fears, and analyzing like this, to pinpointing the source of my fear, is one of the few things that will let me get a grip on it.  Some would say I over-think things, that the world isn&#039;t a giant metaphor, but it works for me.

I think we are going to discover, in the long run, that &quot;if it bleeds, it leads&quot; news coverage and police procedural media saturation has left us &lt;i&gt;all&lt;/i&gt; with a mild case of PTSD.

I also think that one of your great strengths in this is your hard-won self-awareness: most people really don&#039;t respond to fear with thoughtfulness.</description>
