This got me detention in the 7th grade
But at least she doesn’t use a teleprompter like Obama.

UPDATE: (Huffpost Exclusive)
Closer inspection of a photo of Sarah Palin, during a speech in which she mocked President Obama for his use of a teleprompter, reveals several notes written on her left hand. The words “Energy”, “Tax” and “Lift American Spirits” are clearly visible.

I’m sure I’m going to see this splashed across all the political blogs I read, but I read it here first!
Man, that’s pitiful. Not only is a bush-league move (and that idiom predates our unlamented former President by generations, though I don’t know how they knew!), but it gives away the fact that she must have had some idea what the questions were going to be. Either that, or that it didn’t matter what the questions were going to be: those were going to be her answers! She’s done that before (remember the Biden debate?)
Now, here’s what’s going to bug me for the rest of the day. Why is “Budget” crossed out? Ahistoricality(Quote)
The accounts I’ve read say her staff pre-screened all questions, which makes this even sadder/funnier. From Plunderbund, here’s another video that shows what she was using her notes for. Based on that I think the replacement word for budget is cut.

According to Think Progress, a Fox commentator says she probably did it on purpose to call attention to Obama’s teleprompter use.
Now why didn’t I think of that? Terry(Quote)
Yeah, that’s what I’d say, too, if I’d gotten caught, but she’s not usually that subtle, and there’s no actual evidence of planning. If I were one of the organizers or faithful at the Tea Party thing I’d be pretty pissed if I thought she’d pulled a stunt like that to call attention to herself. She’s used it since in her speeches: it’s becoming a schtick as a way to defuse it, but I’m not buying it. Ahistoricality(Quote)
That’s pathetic. I don’t see any reason to even question what my eyes tell me – if she’d done this on purpose, why would she have needed to cross anything out?
And people keep falling for it. Terry(Quote)
